  1. Ahh, beautiful.

I remember playing with these as a child.

Making a wish and blowing the little fairies off the stem, and then running and chasing and jumping after them as they danced in the breeze!

  8. I must have posted this statement four times today – This is why I need a macro lens!
Your photo is amazing, I love the framing and the detail! I have to ask…did you blow, scatter the seeds and make a wish after the picture was taken? ;)

  9. Gee, they look the same as American dandelions to me...

  10. They may be weeds, but I've always loved them. Beautiful yellow at first and then light little seeds to wish away into the wind!

  14. Bernie, I read your bio. I think you're a better photographer than you think! Sorry about your losses. I can't imagine... But anyway, this shot is fantastic. Love the clarity in the middle and the total blur around it. BTW, what is the red and white flower on your background? Thanks for stopping by my blog. Have a greet day!

Thanks for your kind words, but as to my photography, I am still very much a learner! I enjoy it as a hobby, its quite relaxing... And thanks for your thoughts regarding my life challenges...

The flower is a Tulip, a Parrot Tulip!!

  15. Bernie,

Thanks for coming by. This is a wonderful photo of a dandelion. It makes me think I could just give one good puff and make the little parasols sail away in the breeze. Hoping that you have a good week.
