Family Photo 2008
Ok, just to explain, a little, about this pic... I came across (again) this pic recently when clearing some files on a HDD. An important thing about this one in particular, is it is, possibly, the last 'family' photo taken, as not too long after it was taken, Pa fell ill, and later passed, and then 12 months later, L also suddenly passed as well...
So, it is important to have one in every family; that 'annoying uncle' that likes to take a family photo, right?
Hoo roo for now...

Oh wow. These photos must hold such beautiful memories.

What a wonderful memory to have! Beautiful family! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're lucky to have those family group photos. I did not know what my one grandfather looked like for most of my life--there were pics of grandma, but my mother did nto know what happened to pics of her dad. Then just a few years ago, an uncle found a pic while going through boxes that he copied and distributed to the family. Best present ever!
ReplyDeleteIt's so great that you have this!!! Its priceless

ReplyDeleteWow! This is precious!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to get a big family photo like this done. We're spread across the country though!
ReplyDeleteI love digging out photos especially looking at ones like this
ReplyDeleteHave a fantabulosa week ;-)
You're right Bernie, family photo's are so important, but personally I find them such a chore, only because I hate having my picture taken..
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, Bernie! I wish I had had that uncle...
ReplyDeletePriceless picture. It's annoying to have an uncle who likes to take pictures at the moment, but you'll thank him later for the memories. Happy WW.
ReplyDeleteI think it's great that you have this photo but found it hilarious that you called out an annoying uncle to take the shot! HA!
ReplyDeleteLove your photo. Hope you'll link it up this weekend on my Flashback Friday meme, it goes live at 6pm tomorrow evening :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit late in commenting on this, but great shot. Only recently we managed to get a family photo of everyone during last Christmas, two nephews and our on son too, mum and dad, mother in law, two sisters, brother in law and a step sister, not quite as big.
ReplyDeleteOr one "annoying aunt". ;) I'm sure everyone you've shown the picture to was excited to see it existed. Might be cool to make copies and give it to those who are not all that friendly with computer. Great job...maybe you'll hear a little less grumbling in the future (just maybe).
ReplyDeleteAnnoying uncles aside, it's lovely he took that photo to remember your Pa by :)
