I find myself saying 'Cheers' a lot, even when closing a telephone conversation... Cheers Mate... So, with that in mind, I will now say cheers...

------Firstly, I thought, how do you take a photo of a smell?? So a little 'outside the box' thinking was needed for this one. A smell that I do adore, apart from the standard perfumes etc (Michael Kors being VERY high on the list) is that of flowers, and more so, the smell of freshly cut grass. No surprises there hey?
I don't know what it is, I just like the smell of fresh cut grass, much the same as a storm that is not to far away. Also, again weird I know, but in the middle of summer, on a hot bitumen road, when it starts to rain, again when there is a storm nearing, ahh the smells of summer...

------Someone that inspires me, as in present form, or in the past tense? Lets do both, shall we?
In the 'past tense, its kind of a no brainer as the single most important person, who not only inspired me, but also had confidence in me to do the things I wanted to do... That is, L...
Now in the 'present', this is a little more difficult, as there are many who inspire me, drive me to try new things and to achieve a lot more than I thought I ever could. Also, not just that, but in a lot of ways, maturity beyond their years as well... BUT, they know who they are and exactly WHAT they mean to me, as I have told them of this...

------I was out spotting in Melbourne, and along the airport viewing park, is a rural area where a lot of birds flock. On this occassion, there was a flock of Crows. This little fellow is sitting on a road sign just off the road...

------Last month, it was the 2012 Royal Easter Show, and we had the best fun... On the days it wasn't raining though of course!! Here is the view from the top of the Ferris Wheeel, looking down on Side Show Alley. I used an iPhone App to give it a 'tilt-shift' appearance.

------I've been lucky enough to see a few skylines in my travels, yet nothing seems to surpass that of Sydney's. And this is not just that its my home city either, its the type of construction, its textures, and of course, surrounded by the magnificant harbour... The only one that comes close, is that of Hong Kong, especially when viewed from atop of Victoria Peak...

------Recently, an organised airside tour gave us the opportunity of photographing 'up close and personal' to the active runway in Sydney... Here, a QF Boeing 767-300 is taxiing past where we were located, and he gave us the 'PEACE' sign - cool hey!

------London, 2010... it may not be in 'full frame', but I had a very limited opportunity to get this shot! So I worked with what I had at the time, and I am pretty happy with the result! The idea of getting a 'silhouette' style photography appeals to me...

------I honestly have nothing to do for this one, how bad am I?? But now, thinking about it, it will be at least 1pm SOMEWHERE, right?? But what I will do, is post a random photo, but if you look closely at the post time, guess what, its 1pm!!!

------The other night, we went out on the town to do some night photography. We shot across to Circular Quay, the Harbout Bridge and the Opera House, all the 'usual suspect'... BUT, this is one of Luna Park, but from a slight closer, and more unusual angle...

------We were on the cruise leg of my trip to Angers France for the Turf Conference in 2010, and one of the meals we had onboard, we were served Vegetable Samosa's with a mango chutney as an Entree... Now, I was worried about this, but when I tasted it, it was actually very nice, curry spiced inspired, but nice all the same...

------Recently, I was asked to go to my Professors retirement, and it ended up, I was the photographer for the night. Just one problem though, I had no flash gun, so I took off and researched for a suitable one. I ended up with a Nissin brand, which did me well on the night.

Here we see this hairy little fellow, and yes we can see that hes a 'he', and they are all freindly enough. The WARNING though is this, remove ANYTHING sparkly, hair clips, sunglasses and the like as the monkeys collect them!!!
