Another from the series in Santiago, Chile... The Wednesday of the conference, we went to the top of the Andes, and here I am up the top of the 'Andes Express', which is the second highest peak in the Valle Nevado ski park at 3,485m!!!

I couldn't find anything as a 'younger you' in my flickr account, but I went back and found this little gem. It was when we went to Aalborg in Denmark. It was a Conference L went to and I was there in the 'Partners Program'. We went on a nature excursion, and what you are seeing is a water spring in the bogs up in the northern Jutland area, not far from Aalborg itself.

Back in 2009, I went to Santiago Chile for a Conference, and as part of the Conference, we went to Valle Nevado up in the Andes. Lunch, which was served inside but we could take it outside, was devine, but I was more impressed in the surrounding views as opposed to the food. Would you agree?

I had a little difficulty in deciding what to do for this one... I could've done Bronty as a puppy, and even then, she wasn't that 'tiny'... So I went in search of what was in my flickr account, and I got zero hits for 'Tiny'! Hmmm, I puzzled for a little bit, and then I thought, 'what about one of my macro shots' and this is what I got in return. It is a Crocus which is in the back garden, and its tiny stamens are of bright yellow.

With her unconditional love, it would be a hands down to Bronty... Not that other people DON'T make me happy, because they truely do and there's way to many to name individually, but Bronty just has that 'special' kinda happiness... Even though at times, she can be a complete and utter cow, she still remains close...

It was a long time ago, June 15th 2010 actually, when I achieved Gold Status with Emirates. I had used the airline extensively for a period, and I will go back to flying with them, but for now at least, I'm simply price driven and the best fare on the day wins...

I Often get asked as to whats my favourite colour... And, it has nothing to do with my chosen working field, but as a greenkeeper and Turf Researcher, I would have to say of course it is green!
Why is that I hear you ask?? Well, to me, its such a pleasing colour, its not 'harsh' as some of the reds, oranges and yellows, its not as 'cold' as some of the blues around either. Yet green, seems relaxing, cool and simply pleasant... And, in this photo of the fierce and mean Jasmine, aren't you becoming relaxed seeing the green background of my lawn? I am...

This one, is not in the true spirit of the title in that it is not my reflection... AND NO, it is NOT an April Fools either! But in so many ways, it could be... you see, next to my friend DW, is in fact another Bernie Proctor - thus my (aged) reflection perhaps?? It is sad though the the late Bernie Proctor is now gone, and that I only knew him for a very short period, but he was very much the gentleman...

There was no denying it, L loved her crafty toys... All manner of toys were sought after from local 'crafters to international crafters, there was at times, no stopping her!

OH&S in Australia is pretty strict, steel capped boots, high vis shirts/vests and so on... So when in Ubud, Bali, you can imagine my horror in seeing the following on a construction site!!!

In Sydney, rubbish collection is done in the wee hours of the morning, by a truck, and the whole process is semi-automated. Now, in Turkey, Tire, it is collected by a trailer drawn by a tractor! It was quite quirky really, but in the small village, its all needed!!

I've recently done photo shoot at night, we went down to below the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Luna Park areas. Now, what does this have to do with 'My Name', well have a look at my photo below for the explanation!!

Breakfast, theres so many yummy foods for breakfast... I like Bacon and Eggs, tomato's and toast when I am out. Here, this is a close up of the tomato with some freshly cracked pepper... Yumm!!

Again, in Berlin's Tierpark Zoo, we had to visit the Elephant display... They were stunningly close, nice sunny day and were having a ball swimming and bathing in the water. Here they are walking out to enjoy a dirt bath next, now that they're wet!!

When we moved from Guildford, we literally packed everything, well maybe not everything, but it seemed as though it was everything INCLUDING the kitchen sink!! But, alas, that had to stay as it was needed by the new residents...

Location: Dubai - London, 2011 I was on my way to a conference in Ghent, Belgium. I was given an upgrade to Business Class with Emirates and this was the dessert a Banana Panna Cotta (and yes, it was DELICIOUS!!)

We purchased our house back in 2005, and moved then moved into it in the June. This is what it looked like out on the back veranda...
One of the first things to be done, was L and her dad repaired some of the broken glass in the windows, which was done in the middle of winter when I was overseas I might add! Then it was a matter of a quick lick of paint, as seen in this picture.
Now, after nearly 10 years, this is how the back veranda looks, with some cast iron columns, cedar fluted posts and a bit of furniture (currently inside whilst Bronty is a puppy)

This is the start of a 'catch-up of OVER a month, so my apologies for not keeping up due to being busy and a little bit of "what do I post"...
BUT, in 2010 when I was in Germany, I caught up with (for the very first time, Maribeth who was also in Germany (Berlin)! We went to the Tierpark Zoo for the day, and we had a ball. This photo, was simply 'Funny'!!
